Hospice Offers Memorial Planting Service | Community-News


BRATTLEBORO – The 22nd Annual Brattleboro Area Hospice-sponsored Memorial Planting Service will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Brattleboro Area Hospice Memorial Garden at Living Memorial Park.

Take part in planting bulbs, create memorial messages on stones to place in the garden or take home, read the names of those who have passed away in the past two years, and listen to beautiful music, all for honor and remember loved ones who have passed away. . Everyone is invited, so encourage family and friends to come along.

This service can be a particularly meaningful experience for children. Light bulbs and materials for memorial stones will be provided. If you would like a loved one’s name added to the list to be read aloud, call the office at 802-257-0775 or email it to info @ brattleborohospice.org.

Due to COVID, wearing a mask will be mandatory throughout the service. Refreshments will not be served, so bring water if needed. A few chairs will be available, so bring one to make sure you have a spot if needed.
