JoAnn was known for her kindness and her ability to see the best in others, as she would say “Everyone is different”. She had a unique way of making everyone feel like her favorite. She always had a kind word and complete strangers opened up to her as she was very attentive and never judged. Her house was where everyone was welcome and had an excellent meal, for she was a true cook. She shared her love of cooking with many taking care of their special occasions. She enjoyed spending time in Toledo Bend and fishing with her husband. JoAnn loved to travel and explore the world with her family and friends. Many trips were taken with her siblings and their spouses, her in-laws and later the trips of the sisters which included her sisters-in-law. She passed on her love of travel to her daughters and daughter-in-law, and then to her granddaughters. Some of her favorite moments were the girls’ annual sleepovers with her family and childhood friends. JoAnn will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
